Privacy Policy
Effective July 10, 2026
Memopix is built to be private by design. Everything the app does — photo analysis, collage generation, editing, and export — happens entirely on your device.
What we collect
No personal data, and none of your photos. Memopix has no accounts, no advertising identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites, and no servers of its own. We never collect or sell personal data, and your photos never leave your device.
Two third-party services receive limited, non-personal technical data, described below.
Third-party services
- RevenueCat (purchase reporting) receives your App Store purchase and subscription events, an anonymous app user ID generated by the app, and basic device, operating-system, and country information. This is how we know whether a purchase succeeded and whether Memopix Pro is active. It never receives your name, email address, payment details, or photos. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- TelemetryDeck (anonymous product analytics) receives counts of anonymous in-app events — for example "a keepsake was created" or "the upgrade screen was shown" — so we can tell which parts of the app people get stuck in. Each install is identified only by a random pseudonym that is generated on your device, is not linked to you or to any other identifier, and is discarded when you delete the app. No photos, no file names, and no personal data are ever included. TelemetryDeck is built for privacy-preserving analytics and does not track users across apps. See TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.
Neither service is used for advertising, and Memopix does not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Your photos
- Photos you select are processed only on your iPhone and are never uploaded anywhere.
- Photo scoring (sharpness, brightness, face detection) runs locally using Apple's on-device frameworks.
- Your projects are saved in the app's private storage on your device and in your device backups, under your control.
- Saving an export to your photo library only happens when you tap "Save to Photos," using write-only access.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Widget
The "Memory of the Day" widget reads project thumbnails from a private container shared only between Memopix and its widget on your device.
Children
Memopix does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. It has no accounts, asks for no personal details, and the limited technical data described above is anonymous and cannot be used to identify a person.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
