What is Memopix?

Memopix is an iPhone app that turns dozens of your photos into one shaped photo collage — a heart, a star, a Christmas tree, or any word, name or number you type. It picks your best shots automatically, arranges them into the shape, and exports a print-ready file in under a minute.

How do I make a photo collage in the shape of a heart?

Open Memopix, choose the Anniversary heart template and select 20 to 60 photos. Memopix scores every photo, sets aside duplicates and screenshots, and arranges the rest into a heart. You can swap any photo or change the style, then export it. Step-by-step guide.

Can I make a collage that spells a name or a number?

Yes. Type any word, name or number of up to seven characters — MOM, ANNA, 30, 2027 — and Memopix fills each letter or digit with your photos. It's the usual choice for birthdays, Mother's Day and newborns. See the name and number guides.

Is Memopix free?

Yes. You can make and save a finished keepsake for free, with 24 templates, export at 2048 px and a small watermark. Memopix Pro is a single one-time purchase ($19.99 in the US; local prices vary) that removes the watermark and unlocks 4K and 8K export plus all 34 templates and 10 styles. There is no subscription.

How many photos do I need?

At least 10 usable photos; 20 to 60 looks best. Tiles repeat if you use fewer, so even a small set fills the shape. Photos where one face or subject fills the frame read best at tile size.

Are my photos private?

Your photos never leave your iPhone. Curation, layout and export all run on the device, and there is no account. The only data the app sends is anonymous purchase and usage information that contains no photos and nothing that identifies you — see the privacy policy.

Can I print it as a gift?

Yes. Exports go up to 8K in PNG, JPEG or PDF, in portrait, square or story format — large enough for a framed poster or a canvas. Keepsakes you export are yours to print, share or give.

Can family members add their own photos?

Yes. Send an invite link from a keepsake and relatives can add photos from their phones — useful for a parent's birthday or a memorial, when the best pictures are spread across the family.

What do I need to run it?

An iPhone with iOS 18 or later. Memopix also includes a Memory of the Day home-screen widget that brings back one of your keepsakes each day.
