Step by step
- Pick a holiday shape. Holiday Card is a Christmas tree and Christmas Star is a star; both are free. Noel spells the word in photos and comes with Pro.
- Choose the year's photos. Select 20 to 60 photos. One or two from every month gives you the whole year in one frame.
- Let Memopix curate. Blurry shots, screenshots and near-duplicates are set aside on your phone, and faces are kept in frame in every tile.
- Title it. Add a line such as Our Christmas or The Garcias, 2026, then choose a style. Vintage and Gold suit the season.
- Export, print or send. Save a PNG, JPEG or PDF for a framed print or a card, or share the reveal video in the family chat.
Christmas collage ideas
- The family year: one photo from every month, shaped into a tree, as the present for grandparents.
- A Christmas card: export in the square format and send it as a picture or print it as a card.
- Christmases past: one photo from every Christmas you have spent together.
- From the whole family: send an invite link and relatives add their own photos. The best pictures are usually on someone else's phone.
Print it in time
A collage takes a minute to make; the print takes longer. Most print shops need a few days, and shipping in December is slow, so leave at least a week before Christmas. Memopix can remind you 10 days before the day you choose.

Questions
Is the Christmas tree template free?
Yes. Holiday Card (the tree) and Christmas Star are free templates; free exports are 2048 px with a small watermark. To give one keepsake in 4K without the watermark, unlock it for $3.99, or get Pro for every keepsake.
How many photos do I need for a Christmas collage?
At least 10 usable photos; 20 to 60 looks best. Tiles repeat if the shape has more cells than you have photos.
Can I make it as a Christmas card?
Yes. Use the square or story format, add a title, and share the picture or print it as a card.
