Step by step
- Choose the template. In Loving Memory is a cross; Forever Pawprints is a paw print for a pet. To spell their name instead, use Custom Shape.
- Gather their photos. Select 20 to 60 photos across their life. Close-ups where their face fills the frame stay recognisable at tile size.
- Ask the family. Send an invite link from the keepsake. Relatives add photos from their own phones, often pictures you have never seen.
- Add their name and dates. Edit the title and subtitle, for example a name and 1948 – 2026, and choose a quiet style such as Minimal or Vintage.
- Print it for the service. Export a PNG, JPEG or PDF. A 4K or 8K export prints sharply as a poster for an easel or a framed print for home.
Where a memorial collage is used
- At the funeral or celebration of life: a poster on an easel at the entrance.
- In the order of service: a smaller version on the cover or the back page.
- At home afterwards: a framed print, or a copy for each family member.
- Online: the reveal video, shared with friends who could not attend.
Choosing the photos
Look for one clear face per photo, and a spread of years: childhood, the people they loved, ordinary days. Memopix sets aside blurry shots and duplicates; you can bring any of them back, because some imperfect photos are the ones that matter most.
Everything happens on your iPhone and the photos are never uploaded. Relatives who add photos send them to you directly as a file, through Messages or AirDrop; there is no Memopix server in between.
Questions
Is the memorial template free?
Yes. In Loving Memory and Forever Pawprints are free; free exports are 2048 px with a small watermark. For a large print without the watermark, unlock that one keepsake for $3.99.
What size should I print for a funeral easel?
Most easel posters are 40 × 60 cm (16 × 24 in) or larger. Export in 4K or 8K so the photos stay sharp at that size.
Can relatives add photos from their phones?
Yes. Send an invite link and they can add photos to the keepsake from their own iPhones.
